This magnificient manor house which dates from the 19th Century was completely renovated and tastefully enlarged in 2004.It has been converted into a design country house with many lovely details in decoration.Combines elegance and modern interiors with the historical architectural style and its wonderful location. Situated on the outskirts of Luz with a beautiful view over the Bay of Praia da Luz the stately home overlooks a 5 ha property planted with a mature tree population, orange trees, biological market gardening, it's own spring, a small pond and wide panoramic lawns. The interiors, whose light colours create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, playing perfectly with the straight lines of the furniture. In some rooms, the wall between bathroom and bedroom is glass - which, besides being highly original, creates a sense of space. A very nice design, with special emphasis on aesthetics, functionality and comfort turn Vila Valverde in an exclusive place for individualists. Reception, panoramic terrace, breakfast room, wine cellar, small room for groups, lounge/ TV- room, heated indoor pool (15x5m, sun bed with covers included), outside pool and fitness centre with Sauna. On request we organize special programs such as golf, tennis, bicycle tours, horse riding, sailing and diving. 15 individually decorated rooms (25sqm to 35sqm) with first class comfort and modern design, all with bath/WC (incl. bathrobe, hairdryer), Air-conditioning, heated floor, Sat-TV, telephone, Internet-access, Safe, Parquet flooring and balcony or terrace. All rooms are non smoking (only allowed in the public hotel areas) Rich late riser breakfast buffet until 11.00 h (served on the outdoor terrace, weather permitting). We trust our guests.You can help yourself with a drink in our bar or fridge. You just have to register every item in your room account and pay at the end. We have a good selection of drinks and quality wines. Lights meals or snacks can be ordered during the day. A sauna awaits you directly by the poolside. Should you like to hire a car to discover the Algarve. Please do not hesitate ask for our help. We can organize your transfer to/from the airport. Let yourself be advised by our experienced staff, should you like to discover the Algarve in an organzined tour or go to our neighbours in Spain.
